Just what I saw on my way to work:

1) Stopping on a snowy/icy on-ramp to "see why my car is sliding so much."

2) Driving 15mph down the middle of the road with your blinkers and cabin lights on, talking on the phone/fishing in the glove box.

3) Repeatedly passing in the turning lane (while talking on the cell).

4) Erratically driving 5-10mph with no lights or blinkers on, trying to block cars that are trying to get around you.

5) Pedestrians on I-95 in a blizzard/

coming at someone in a driveway going 60mph
they decide to pull their silverado out in front of you
and then, and then JUMP ON THE BRAKES, standing their fucking truck on its nose trying to get you to hit them and then go 45mph.

yes, I succumbed and flipped them off going by in the next convenient passing zone.

We've both flown several times back and forth (my fiance and I, between Iowa and NJ)... It is the same price if only one of us is traveling, but when it is both of us, driving is cheaper.

Plus, we don't have to go to Smog City like we do when we fly, so that's a plus.

People who don't clean the snow off of the roof of their car, leaving it to fly off on the highway and right into my windshield.

People who don't clean the snow off of their back windshield or rear view mirrors then merge into lanes without seeing if anyone is there. How stupid can you be??

These are actually PROBABLY the people from the post before yours. They clean off their back windows, but the snow from the top of their car eventually falls down and covers their back window.

A lot of the people I see don't do either

Trucks who don't clean the snow off of the roof of their trailers, leaving it to fly off on the highway and right into ones windshield.

But they can't really go on top and brush it off

Another thing that pisses me off is when I'm in the left turn lane at a light waiting for a break in traffic to make my turn safely.
Asshole behind me starts blasting his horn and is yelling at me to hurry up and make the turn even when it's obvious I'm going to get hit.

Gee, I just have this most difficult time wrecking my car and killing or maiming myself or someone else because some asshole wants to save a few precious seconds of his time.

blow the light three or four times... you know, sit through three or four cycles, just to be annoying.

And then drive around me, gesticulating wildly, and promptly gridlock the intersection when the light turns red.

or when there is a sign that says 'DO NOT BLOCK INTERSECTION/STREET/DRIVEWAY" and they go berzerk because you wont pull up.

I see this at least one a week at the entrance to the base. three separate signs say don't do this very thing and people still do it.happily base PD sits there waiting for stupid people to do this then pulls them over searches the vehicle and gives them a fat ticket

Until this happens...

Absolutely everything about driving in Toronto. Especially the East-bound 401. No matter what time of day I leave to go visit bandi, the 401 is fucked and it takes AT LEAST an extra hour. There's been many times where 200km takes 4-5 hours.

I also work 17km away and it takes anywhere from 30 mins to 1.5h to get there.

I'm pretty sure the only solution in this hell-hole of a city is to bomb it and start over.

P.S. beige Hondas/Acuras/Toyotas. 'Nuff said.

I could write a novel about the daily failure and hate I encounter on a daily basis here. It's impossible to get anywhere without some beige Corolla going 20 under, and I guess Toronto vehicles didn't come with turn signals, or signalling one way but merging the other on the highway is normal....etc. Also, braking at random.

It's unbelievable.

what we see here are hypermile-ing assholes in Prius' and Insights... going 25+ under the speed limit.

Much worse than Toronto in my experience. Especially Jersey City where the roads are such a clusterfuck your GPS will even say fuck it.

I bet this has already been said..

But those people who even after seeing their lane ends,they still drive to the very END of their lane and then try to cut infront of everyone in the lane beside them once they can no longer drive on theirs.

You aren't being smart by beating the traffic behind you, you're just being an asshole.
