A raging non-conformist, full of angst and hate, overwhelmed by hormones?
Or a quiet social exclude, suicidal and paranoid, also overwhelmed by hormones?
Or something else?=)

My sister and brother both died when I was a teenaged kid, so I pretty much spent my teen years trying not to break the fragile peace at home and keeping to myself. I walked every night w/a walkman listening to rap or the replacements. Not a fun time for me.

You betcha

Depressed, Suicidal, Loner.

I have a mental limiting disorder (Aspergers) was placed on a strong thought inhibiting anti-psychotic (Zyprexa) age 11-18 when Zoloft failed to yield results but I wasn't psychotic.

But I think I'm more fucked up now than I was then...

Loner by choice, not really depressed and certainly not suicidal. I just had a best friend and we played video games all the time. I didn't actually get into music, drinking and a bigger circle of friends until my late teens and early twenties. Didn't get drunk for the first time until 16 or 17 and didn't have my first real girlfriend until I was 21 (nor my first actual sexual experience until then).

I'm definitely happy with my lifestyle now. I'm an avid photographer, I enjoy drinking (but not excessively), I have a wonderful girlfriend and what I think is a fairly well developing taste for music. Also a very large circle of friends whom are very dear to me.

I may have been a late bloomer socially but I think I do alright now.

the worst time to go through relatives' death.

I have a mental limiting disorder (Aspergers)

Aspie? you are not the only one! General public is unaware of this condition. I am tempted to confess about my own troubles (esp. in hi-school long ago) which i attribute to my Aspie-ness. Its all better now. Especially with such great hobby.

until I was 21 (nor my first actual sexual experience until then).

In our perverted society it is considered uncool to have first experience so late! everybody s supposed to screw like rabbits once they are fourteen!

I also wasn't in the game during teen years=(

It is what it is. My dad and grandfather both have it.

It's complicated trying to sort out the exact reasons for problems in my life.

I don't have impaired "Motor Coordination" associated with ASD. More problems are because I don't have a hand-dominance. Natural lefty ... retrained to be a righty by teachers in grade school.

I ramble on about subjects ... yeah.

I have photographic memory and intense focus; I can copy and mimic physical movements very very accurately (interesting when driving) I can predict others movements and react accordingly (very useful when driving)

(I'm good at predicting what's going to happen next on House too.)

The other thing which is not common among Aspies is I am excellent at reading people. I'm exceptionally good at it once I've gotten to know someone. Which makes me a great social engineer.

But I'm focusing in on myself again. Every once and a while I have to check my self. (Then sub tag things to keep UERs bandwidth down.)

I was 19 and graduated hs in 2007.
I got my first job (Sept-04), first car and drivers license(Sept-11), first sexual experience(October) all within a six week period.

Better to recycle answers.

Only problem is that I'm not so good in making new friends. I've just moved to a new town but I've got no one I'd call a real "friend" here. Actually, I don't think I have any friends within 50 km

My life consisted of all sorts of abuse. Mental, physical, and.. more. I was FUCKED. I still sorta am. Not nearly as bad. 2 trip to the crazy house and a buffet-assortment of medication. Almost off the pills now and doing well.

Ehh. I don't feel like getting into detail. If you know me well in person you'll get a general idea of what the fucking nightmare of my childhood was like.

Meh.

I'm very glad that most of my experiences were not until I was older. I feel my maturity was more appropriate to them, especially the sexual experiences. I had a lot of time to "spectate" what does and doesn't work in relationships before being in one myself. My first one was a bit troublesome but I learned from it and the one I am in now is absolutely amazing.

I had a chance to lose my virginity when I was 16 but I'm VERY glad that I didn't. I believe it would have been something I'd have heavily regretted.

Never got any action, the usual raging hormones. No drinking till senior year, and even then really light.

Insomnia was my drug of choice...I'd stay up playing counter-strike until 3am-4am, get up at 7:30, drive to school, sleep through class, sleep after school, track practice from 3:30-5:00, dinner, counter-strike, and there we go again.....

I dearly loved my solitude and sincerely hated everyone around me.

My senior year was spent in my car listening to music writing and making collages in my journal.

I could never keep a group of friends for longer than a year.

I had pet rats that I would let run around my room.

I would paint on the floor or on top of my record player.

I was really happy.

I miss those times more than any other time in my life.

I worked since I was 12. Parents were ok, kinda strangers. Not their fault. I was a loaner. Had a strong work ethic and grew up beside a farm. Lived in a rual area and started driving at 12 (yea farm tags) and tinkering with all that was mechanical since I could hold tools. I found piece in it. Liked roaming the woods, exploring, and finding out where roads went. Never found drugs to be all that attractive. Watch friends waste their lives with it. Didn't drink till I was 17 and then very little. Started dippin at 14 but didn't smoke till I was 20. Never got in trouble, never talked shit. Had a quick wit and only had to fight a couple times in school. Very passive and go with the flow as a teen but would stand up for something or someone if need be. I had my fair share of sex but not a total dog. I didn't care for playing sports. I found my piece thru solitude and wondering thru empty halls. I was the anti-teen.

This was me. I still can't seem to keep friends very long for some reason. Everyone tends to disappear somehow or another.

I'm exactly the same as I was as a teenager, only slightly less depressed... more angry, more bitter and a lot less trusting...

I was the crazy adrenaline fueled kid with a need for speed with both cars and bikes. I wasn't expected to live to my high school graduation. Usual nights consisted of instigating people into car chases that usually consisted of going between 90-110mph on fire and state forest roads in my Subaru. I had a map of all the roads I hit over 100 on and most were on dirt roads. Snow? Ice? Rain? Mud? It didn't matter, I was out doing ungodly stupid things behind the wheel of my cars. Send4hlp can vouch to those epic rides. I totaled two cars within 15 days, and had my license suspended before I hit 17. I used to run from the cops every chance I got and taunt them on motorcycles and dirt bikes.

My senior year of HS I missed 93 days of school, graduated with high honors and a 4.0 gpa. I got along with everyone but never the popular kid.

I spent my days shooting things out of moving cars. Did you know a semi-auto .22 barrel rests perfectly between your mirror and windshield so you can pop off rounds while still being able to aim and drive at the same time?

Summer between Junior and Senior year was spent blowing up propane tanks and aerosol cans every night of the week. WalMart could not keep up with our demand and eventually started getting shipments in every other night.

Now I'm a calm, laid back person who occasionally takes the bike out for spirited runs through the twisties.

High School years:

This was from one night with the exception of two signs.

Calm my ass, I remember a time at Trevor's that you were making love to a carpet... This was only months ago...

The Durango '95 purred away a real horrowshow - a nice, warm vibraty feeling all through your guttiwuts. And soon it was trees and dark, my brothers, with real country dark.
