| | | I actually finalize the deal tomorrow morning, but I'm so damn excited I have to tell someone about it. It's a black 1987 325i sedan, with a 2.7i stroker engine, completely rebuilt from the bottom up with all new seals, hoses, gaskets, etc. A 327i, if you will H&R in the back, Eibach in the front. Turner motorsports chip. Stage 2 clutch. Probably more I'm forgetting. Will post pics tomorrow when I get her home!

| | | With Bimmers it's just because there's so many different models that are based on the same platform, ie, with the E30: 316i 318i 318is 324td 325 325e 325es 325i 325is 325ix M3 all basically look like: With the Japanese stuff... I never got it. A '91-'95 Civic is a Civic, a 1st gen Rx-7 is just a 1st gen Rx-7... and they have different trim levels.

You "domesticals" should. and because the german codes are chronological, it makes things even easier.
| well, with long-term produced GM's, there are generations to each platform. For example... Gen I J-bodies= 1982-1987, Gen II= 1988-`990, Gen II.5= 1991-1994, Gen III= 1995-1999, Gen III.1= 2000-2002, Gen III.2= 2003=2005 of course, if you know what you're talking about, it's a no-brainer anyways.
