I'm kinda surprised nobody noticed the Skytrain long exp tail light on the left, nor the RCMP ghetto bird above that...busy night in the city. Does anyone care to guess the site of the Construction crane in the back ground? I know a few foamers on this private board have been there. Here is a freshie...just up the line.

(Sadly, the uploader on UER has cropped out the tracks.)

I used to be with it, but then they changed what it was. Now what I'm with isn't it, and what's it seems weird and scary to me, and it'll happen to you, too!

Hearn 200; ex-ETR 101

Hearn 300; ex-ETR 103

EDIT: These are not my pictures. They were sent to me by a member of the Southern Ontario Locomotive Restoration Society. They are in the process of getting these bad boys up and running. 103 is close but batteries for these things are a pretty penny.

Interesting, does SOLRS own them? From an old magazine article, that S1 is the oldest Alco diesel in Canada (and I can't imagine that's changed).

Keep it fuzzy.

The engines actually belong to Don Hearn and The Hearn Group but he is letting SOLRS restore them. He donated the engines, some road and a repair facility to the group. Yes, this S1 is still the oldest in Canada.
They are trying to make a deal with the ETR so that they can run a dinner train from Windsor to Amherstburg along the ETR road. This group is also responsible for ETR 9 aka ETR 109 which I have included a picture of below.
Locally, a few members are also restoring the Spirit of Windsor. The Spirit of Windsor is a Pacific 4-6-2, ex-CN 5588. It is on static display in Dieppe Park along the River.

ETR #9 at the ETR office in 2002. It came down from the Waterloo garage and pulled passenger service to help celebrate ETR's 100th anniversary.

Spirit of Windsor; ex-CN 5588 in it's final resting place along the Detroit River

Again, these are not my photos
