i posted this in the rookie area. no help there... anyhow in the "click to view" type post/threads. when i click the thumbnails, i loose about 20-30% of the bottom of the pic (in the new window)
so i did a test, here are 2 of the same pics...

above from my photbucket

167697.jpg (117 kb, 800x600)

same pic but from my hard drive.

see the twigs at the bottom corner of the box? in the click to view version. there are no twigs... and a tiny bit of the box is cut off... i can see all the pic-in the click thumbnail, but when i click it thats when i loose some of the pic.
that is my issue

anyone else see this?

When I say I'm 'clean and sober', it means I've showered and I'm headed to the liquor store.

The posters in the rookie forum are correct, the problem is on your end somehow. Both photos have the same dimensions (800x600) and nothing is cut off. I tried three different browsers (Firefox, IE and Chrome) and they all display it correctly. I even positioned the pop up window right next to the original and they are the same height.

Do you or your ISP use a proxy? Or do you have any "web accelerators" in use? Those sorts of things could potentially change the image.

While I would not mind helping you, since I'm in Canada it's not worth the hassle. Trust me, sending laptops across the boarder is not fun.

I would try your laptop on another internet connection. Go to a friends place, the library, coffee shop etc. Preferably somewhere with a different ISP. Then you will know for sure if it's your laptop or your ISP that is causing the problem.
