Another one for me was the fuel pump on my pickup ('90 S15). This was while I was on the QEW going west of Cawthra.

What about driving down random backroads, getting lost (on purpose) and having your GPS take you down an unmaintained road with 3 feet deep of snow on it?

I just set my GPS to take me to the nearest gas station, and went down a pretty normal looking dirt road... crested a hill and pooooof... the plowing stopped right there!

Made it through most of the way, about 4 km (because there was no way in hell I could have turned around, got stuck (frame was hung up).

Luckily my phone worked out there, and my friend's Jeep came to the rescue.

Turns out I was hung up on a fallen tree buried under the snow... and I still drove outta there... in a Tercel.

It's entirely the fault of my GPS. Not my fault AT ALL. GPS.
