Samarai, since I value your advice out of all the other knuckleheads here what would you pay?

Guy shops for cars at a used car lot and he goes around calling people knuckleheads... wow.
But since id be tempted to say something this astronomically hypocritical to someone who spoke to me the way I did to you, i guess i can understand. Do yourself a favour and look in the paper for a public car auction. I'll even give you some numbers to call:
http://www.sergean...ontent/auction.php '03 and '96 caravans for auction tomorrow. you might get the '03 for $2K, now THAT would be a deal.
http://www.speedst....com/pictures.html check out #167 and #196, both have potential and guaranteed you're walking out with the keys for less than a grand. auctions every tuesday, look at them all!

www.copart.com, just missed the gsa auction here
http://www.brasher...land.com/pgve.aspx (next one apr. 22) and
http://www.autorepoimpoundauctions.com if you cant find a mint $500 magicwagon after all this, youre not trying. I dug these up in 20 minutes.
Once you buy it at an auction, youre stuck with it, but with scrap prices where they are, you can turn around a $500 van at the shredder and just about break even. And being a self-proclaimed expert on minivans you should have no problem finding a creampuff anyway, right?
I cant think of one good reason to buy a used car at a lot, not one. Getting a lot to make good on a "guarantee" or "buyback" on a car or truck THAT old, at THAT price level, man you can forget it.
