We have some threads for epic hurts/cuts/breaks, but what about on the internal level?

I went into two hospitals without a respirator before then. I didn't go anywhere that bad. But I did feel really sick before I passed out that night. It wasn't a nosebleed because I woke up with a horrible metallic-key taste in my mouth and normally if you get a nosebleed in your sleep it'll leave dry blood in your nostrils, which I didn't have. I had a horrible cough for the week after. It might have just been my lack of prior exercise, poor diet, and the rainy raw weather ... I'm thinking I might have caught pneumonia that cleared itself up.

Travis ("MovingUnit" here) got an incredibly nasty fungal infection on his hands after leafing through some papers at Danvers. I believe someone else got it too but I don't remember who.

Now I always assume old papers are flesh-eating-file-piles!

Curious_George has some crazy fungal infection on his arm that's been spreading for months, he's seen a few specialists (with more coming up) and nobody knows wtf it is. It's a huge white splotch on his arm that started as the size of a baseball and is now over a foot in length.

While scouting entrance to a house I got a nasty case of poison oak that covered the back of my knee, had a 6 inch diameter swollen circle of it on my arm, and by the 3rd day it had spread to both armpits, my other leg, and covered my entire chest and most of my stomache. It lasted about 6 weeks.

I know of a person who contracted giardiasis. But since this is someone else's medical history, I won't be naming them unless this person approves of it first.

That would be about it. It's gotten from drinking water from a beaver dam, and takes 10-15 days after drinking the infested water to show up...I'm a bit confused how one even could contract this from UE.

Sewer exploration.

That appears to be a rare case though. Most sewer workers/explorers and their doctors agree that the regular contact to the sewage results in a major boost in the immune system and they get sick less than those not exposed to the sewage on a regular basis.

Hell, I'll throw my acute lead poisoning into the ring.
