Domestic motor companies top the list of the worst made cars on the road, again, as always, no surprise here. Standby for the nay sayers to complain about how Consumer Reports educated, scientific, refined method of conducting studies is complete birdshit.

The Colorado has had some pretty scathing reviews on this site and that is from the guys who work on them. When a mechanic tells you a car made by the company they work for a is a piece of shit they have a good reason to be doing so.

Consumer Reports is not where I get info on cars. Its where I get info on washing machines.

Consumer Reports only does active testing themselves on selected cars. All their other data is from surveys that are optional to return when requested.

I prefer MotorWeek for car reviews because they run a battering ram of tests on every car they review.

Ford is still shit if you have to work on it, though. At least GM and Chrysler sorta make a conscious effort (on SOME vehicles) to make it repairable by a mechanic.

And the Flex looks like it's made out of Tupperware.

I remember my uncle (former Ford employee) telling me about how when a car is under development at Ford, they assumed that the dealer would do any repairs.

And I'm sure the dealer still breaks the shitty low grade bolts off as well.

A friend of mine is a Ford tech, on the '07 and up trucks, if any mechanical work is required under the hood, about half the time the cab has to be removed from the truck.

I like that the top three are my three least favorite vehicles made in the world. YUSSS!!!

So... in closing, buy what you want, and I am sure you will, but don't let a magazine staffed by import-centric dickheads influence you. drive the cars before the hate (although, i still don't like the Colorado)

And it's funny you say that about the Flex... the first time I laid eyes on it, I thought, "they're selling a tupperwear dish on wheels...' The Fusion looks ok, nice clean athletic lines, but the engine and transmission can't really agree on what's going on or who should do what. The Focus is overpriced in the subcompact field, the Taurus SHO is the new hotness in the sedan field, but will it overcome the Impala, Accord or Camry? Or (gulp), the Hyundai??? The Fiesta looks like it might be fun, BUT it needs to be available in a 3-door, not just a 5. There are people out there who don't have friends or dogs and don't like having all those doors.
Also, a turbo RS version is a must.

The Flex is just plain retarded IMO. It fits in with the PT and HHR retro crowd, puke.
