Took a quick look at their website

So they are only making silvershade 600 currently? Any plans to make more color stuff?

Edit:

Nvrmind the Push works in 600.

Push is for SX-70 cameras, film is 100 iso.
The color 600 is coming out next month, but my previous post was taken with some of the test film.

Recently got some of their initial run of color 600 but haven't had any time to make but a few shots here and there, but so far very impressed. Color is quite realistic and the images appear to be more stable (from my scientific testing of leaving a shot on the windowsill half-covered for the past few days).

Their BW film isn't as stable when it comes to later exposure (one of the chemicals was outlawed by the Kyoto treaty apparently) but the color seems to have solved this. Hope to get out this weekend and shoot the rest of the pack but my initial pair of shots has impressed me.

I'm stopping by their NY store today to see when they'll be making it a full release, more later.

Full color 600 is out the end of the month. Push works in a 600 but you'll need to tape a piece of neutral density (probably ND 0.3 for just one stop, Push requires, well, a push of about one stop) to the top of the pack along the front (be sure not to tape the front tab where the film comes out though.

However, from the discussion we had there you should probably just wait, the new chemicals in the 600 film is going to be a lot better than Push.

One trick I picked up is that you should store your exposed shots vertically for the first two weeks. They've been having a problem with it shifting sepia (B/W) or blue (color) because the chemicals continue to move from the pack in the bottom through the layers when it's horizontal. By storing it vertical with the large chem band at the bottom, gravity keeps it from continuing to shift.

And speaking of the frame, they just came out with black frame and grey frame film. The grey frame didn't really look different from the white (I had to hold a white one up to see the difference) but the black frame is super sharp. About 4,000 packs got shipped to New York and it is limited time.

You are talking about the Push film, not the upcoming PX-680, right? The Push film likes to shift to blue, even after I've cut away the chemical pods, opened the edges, and stored the images vertical.

Yes and wow. Their original emulsion for Push is thicker than the 680 version and therefore takes longer to dry. The 680 appears to get slightly more saturate during the week but it appears to be consistent across all three colors and actually makes it more similar to the original shot, the colors look a little muted when they first come out.

I just got a SX-70 sonar so I've never used the Push, so I'm interested in all the stuff you've done but still seen blue shift.

This one's the most obvious one I've seen the color shift occur...

The original image was taken last Saturday, and scanned after an hour of development.

And here's what I did to the backside:

Finally, the same image scanned a week later (just now), after hanging on a wall:

It seems the only way to stop the shift is to peel the emulsion. Did that once with "meh" results...

I have one more pack of Push and it will most-likely be my last, and I doubt I'll even use it in my SX-70. Much happier with the 600 film and ND filter.

What a massive difference. I only have two packs and don't get my SX for another two weeks. I'll probably just burn through it all over the weekend or mostly just do emulsion lifts and drop it onto some paper.

I'm looking at my 600 color shot from last weekend that's been horizontal the whole time and no shifting or light washout (it's been half-covered on the windowsill) has occurred. Looks pretty stable so far (unless it spontaneously combusts tomorrow morning...)

I'd be surprised if it's any different than the current film pricing. I'd guess it'll be around $22-24 /pack

May 5th!
