That particular Cherokee is actually awfully maintained. It's a sweep team vehicle and all them are driven by people who think they are EMTs, Firefighers, Tow Truck drivers or anything that requires TRAINING but they are NOT.

The E-crew (Which I was with) has all those titles, the proper training, AND is made up of the the SAR group I am a member of own Jeep division

For those who care, I was for all 3 days the guys who rode as the ham in the nice 4WD AMR Ambulance behind the Jeep and may I add IN THE RUMBLE seat in the box.

Most sweep guys out here are ten times as professional as our local hooligan firefighters. And most tow truck drivers don't give a fuck about damaging vehicles, where the sweep guys do.

Yeah, the Northwest Sweep Team is not professional in any way shape or form. I have some whoppers of stories. And I think your sweep team in Ontario is a combined e-crew/sweep team with the right training and certs too.

These guys have the Saint Florian Cross on their cars, yet NONE ARE FIREFIGHTERS. And they have been banned from two other NW rally events already from their stupidity.

Lets start with one from Saturday; there was a red cross out at one of the cars on the Fir Mountain Stage. Sweep would not let E-crew move in; that's a direct violation on the safety plan which states when a red cross is out, the stage is stopped and the E-crew is in charge. The reason is that they wanted to handle this themselves but they don't know what they are doing. Our E-Crew chief was at Start Control and told them we will drive around them regardless. And we did! the look on their face was priceless.

One for thing I like to add. When I was talking with Ken Block after his roll, we chatted about the Fiesta coming back to the US. He mentioned he's pressuring Ford to do a Fiesta RS for North America.
