There's exceptions for being in hectic unfamiliar territory sometimes. If it happens during a daily commute, now that's a big difference.

There is a large contingent of drivers that do not so much change lanes as they ease into them. They also have a kind of retarded logic that this does not require checking the other lane nor their blind spot. I want to run these people into the guardrail.

Also, I'm not a fan of the slow lane changers. They'll switch lanes when they should and use their blinkers and all, but it takes them like 10-20 seconds to complete the actual lane change. WTF. Just do it and get it over with.

people who speed up when you pass them... passed a guy this morning on the way home from work. As I got next to him, he steps on it and basically shuts the lane off so I can't get back in as there was a car that had been a good distance in front of him.

Yup, it's the cruise control incompetent people. Happened to me this past weekend driving back from the catskills. The person passed me, cut right in, and then seriously brake checked me while no other cars were even around. It wasn't even a brake check because I was pissing off the other driver, it's just because the other driver was retarded. We ended up swapping positions about 4 times over 10 miles all while I was traveling the exact same speed the whole time.

Cops who don't enforce the law. The other day in the left lane of a 6-lane highway (3 on each side) where was some d-bag, a cop, and then me all in that order. The cop was waiting for the d-bag to get out of the way. When the right two lanes completely opened up the d-bag didn't move and just stayed at his 5 over the limit speed. The cop finally gave up and passed the d-bag on the right, basically violating motor vehicle laws himself.

It just pisses me off when the cops just deal with these people. The guy should have been pulled over and warned to keep right when not passing.

Strongly agree. Also, why are police interceptors apparently not available with turn signals in my town?

I find it very odd that when a light turns red, Cops get a call. Obviously they must turn their lights on for this and fly through the light. I mean c'mon, They gotta responds as quick as possible. But I guess as soon as they get through the light the call gets cancelled. Being as they shut their lights off afterwords. Real odd... -.-

Today I got brake tested by someone going 35 km/h in a 50 or 60 zone. WTF. I'm not the one being an asshole!

At the intersection waiting to turn left. No advance signal, cars coming and I know for a fact that if I try to make my turn, I'm getting hit.

So, what does dickhead in car behind me does? Starts blasting horn and flashing lights. Wants me to hurry up.

Yes, I realize he's in a terrible rush but I'm just not in the mood of killing or maiming myself just so he can get to wherever he's going sooner.

I just ignore him and wait to make my turn.

Afraid to drive in snow? Don't drive in Canada.

BTW, driving in the snow requires caution, not slowing to 50% of the speed limit. If you can't drive at a reasonable speed in slippery conditions, then you either have failed as a driver, or the roads are so bad that they need to be closed.

Also, why must I do 50 Km/hr or less on my road and the snowmobiles are able to fly up the road at over 100 km/hr... slow the fuck down already.

I totally know what you mean. There is a happy balance to winter driving. I use this as a gauge to tell if a person is a good driver or not as well what type of person they are. It's 90% effective. There is a lot you can tell about a person by a person's response to this casual question/statement:


Me: Man, driving into work this morning sucked. It barely [rained|snowed] and people act like they've never driven in it before. I saw 3 accidents this morning.

Co-Worker Response #1: I know. People were driving ridiculously slow and kept hitting their breaks when it wasn't needed. People like that just lead to more accidents.

Co-worker #1 typically ends up being a cool person and it's even more bad-ass when this person is a woman.

Co-Worker Response #2: I know. People are driving so fast out there and feel like they need to fly by everyone in this horrible conditions. People need to slow down.

Co-worker #2 typically ends up being a creepy religious freak. It's even more disappointing when this person is a male. I feel very sorry for them and their lack of testicles.

People who in the winter on highways and roads don't drive in the middle of the lane which creates and contributes to dry paths with exposed pavement, but those paths are at either the extreme R or L of the lane. That's fine if there's no cars around and your okay with your tries running down the center line of the highway, but as soon as there is a car around you not have to drive into the rough section people are no longer drive in because it's all icy/snowy/rough.

Why can't people just drive in the center's of the freaking leans, you know, like we do in the summer? If when it started snowing people just stayed in the centers of their lanes and began a nice path it would be awesome. But no, they all cluster fuck to the center of the highway and do their best to turn a 3-lane highway into 2 lanes.

Road rage? Assfucks in 4x4 pickups that feel it's their right to go 30mph if there is a snowflake falling from the sky.

If you don't drive very often you could have not driven since before fuel injection was invented and get out on the highway in a ton of steel. And it's illegal for 20-year-olds to have the reaction time you'll have.
