I got my dad this DVD for his birthday and we decided to watch it together, as he was the one that took me to a Rush concert.

I was amazed at how normal and down to earth they are. It was produced so well, not many movies about musicians were done as well as this one imo.

In the end you will be laid to rest where you belong. Bathed in the flames for your hatred and your ignorance. Your the symbol of masculinity, but I can beat king kong.

Love the band, especially during their ABBA period.

This was on VH1 recently. Geddy and Alex come off as nice folks, Neil kind of a jerk. Now, I know that he is shy and all but really, he'll submit to being the topic of a documentary but won't speak with fans that adore him? Weird. Anyway, I still love them and found the film fascinating, especially the parts with Alex's family. Was that for real?

As far as i know it's real. I don't think Rush would mess around.

Read up on Neil Peart, didn't know he lost his daughter and wife in a short period. I guess I would be kind of reluctant to meet with people, too.
