I imagine most of you know by now about the
"other meet in town" this summer, but while it may be the biggest, and the best, it's not the only UER event in Rochester this year!
Rochester Exploring Week 2010 is coming up from August 30 to September 9, including Labor day weekend. It's not your ordinary meet, or even convention, but 10 days of exploring at 47 locations.
There will be 16 or so separate meet-up times, so don't worry if you aren't free for anywhere near all of the 10 days, you're still just as much a part of it even if you can only go for a few hours of one day.
Everyone is welcome at 40+ of these places, including total n00bs and even non-explorers. (for a few of the more challenging places, we ask that you have explored at least one building previously; but there's plenty of opportunities to do just that at this meet, so as long as you plan at least one day in advance, all is open to everyone).
Please RSVP at the
event page if you are interested in going to any part of the meet. Once you are RSVP'd as definitely or maybe attending, or if you contact me by
PM you will be added to the event's
private board which includes, among other things, a specific list of all 47 locations, and discussion of attendance, meeting places, transportation, et cetera for each day.
