*Spoilers*

Acclaimed filmmaker Christopher Nolan directs an international cast in an original sci-fi actioner that travels around the globe and into the intimate and infinite world of dreams. Dom Cobb (Leonardo DiCaprio) is a skilled thief, the absolute best in the dangerous art of extraction, stealing valuable secrets from deep within the subconscious during the dream state, when the mind is at its most vulnerable. Cobb's rare ability has made him a coveted player in this treacherous new world of corporate espionage, but it has also made him an international fugitive and cost him everything he has ever loved.

Now Cobb is being offered a chance at redemption. One last job could give him his life back but only if he can accomplish the impossible: inception. Instead of the perfect heist, Cobb and his team of specialists have to pull off the reverse: their task is not to steal an idea but to plant one. If they succeed, it could be the perfect crime. But no amount of careful planning or expertise can prepare the team for the dangerous enemy that seems to predict their every move. An enemy that only Cobb could have seen coming. This summer, your mind is the scene of the crime.

Saw it! I enjoyed it. I remember seeing a review in the back of a taxi saying that it was way too complicated, but I assumed the reviewer was just an idiot and speaking for the average american. I had no problem following the storyline. It was very entertaining and the only action movie that's come out in a long time that hasn't made me feel like I was watching paint dry. I thought the whole wife thing was interesting, but it reminded me too much of Leo's role in Shitter Island which irritated me. Overall, not the most mind blowing movie I've ever seen, but still pretty awesome.

I completely agree with you here. I loved it as well and I found the concept pretty easy to grasp.. My friend on the other hand, did not!

I think this film is a test. Are you inherently an optimist or pessimist? The answer to that question is whether or not the top keeps spinning.

I think the ending was a cheat. What does that make me?

spoiler i guess

My opinion about the top: In the scenes where they would show how the top spins in dream states, it never wobbled. It wobbled at the end. Therefor, no dream.

It was too open ended, as if they didn't know where to go with it so they cut.

I disagree. I think was deliberate. Notice how when they woke up in the plane, everything sped up.

A true optimist.

Why was his father at the airport? How did he know to be there? You spend enough time in the dream state, I could imagine that ones imagination could trick the mind.

A very thorough Inception theory:
