Here is another major event backing the fact that Southern California is the center of the automotive universe. All people who love cars should live here. In fact, all car lovers should move here, and everyone else should be deported to another state.....or NorCal HAHAHA.

Bandi, Next time you're in town here let us know.

The peterson automotive museum, or the NHRA museum are better than Disneyland. The Nethurcutt collection is awesome, it's online. The Owen collection is online also, It's my favorite, but I'm a motorcycle person.

West coast Choppers has a cool display of old stuff Jessie's built or bought..... There is other stuff I can't think of right now....

This offer goes to any of you Autophiles that might be in town, just drop a line
We'll see what can be worked out for you.

I't would give me the chance to meet some of the auto nuts on this board, hell I might even get to meet Big Dave?

Seriously though, Car culture is huge because California went car crazy after WWII when every Joe and Jane American could afford that nice new big Chevy, Ford, Chrysler or Rambler. And best of all, I've noticed California has way more car owners who do their own work!

Re: the peterson... I came, I saw, and then I came again. And then I needed new pants.

The route 66 museum in Victorville?

Or is route 66 an event or car show type of thing? I'm so uncool....It took me a long time to figure out what HIN stood for......
