Did a last minute impromptu shoot with my friend in Downtown Wilmington, NC. It was really windy, Natural Lighting, and I was shooting with a brand new tripod i hadn't gotten familiar with at all yet, but I like some of them. Hoping to take her out again very soon

Model's name is Charlotte

I know they are blurry and def not my best work, but like I said it was kind of a surprise shoot for both of us, but I had fun. It was my 2nd "Model" shoot I've ever done, but I had a lot of fun.

Looks like your focus point was on the legs, which isn't necessarily a bad thing in this case. But yeah, better focus on the face would have been good.

Actually, it looks like it was more of a problem with movement rather than mis-focusing, especially on #2 and #4.

I like how the color of her shoes really stands out in #4.

You need a flash. Lots of great creativity here but some are soft and most need some fill regardless of the softness or anything else.

I am weird about shoes, and the fact that her shoes don't match at all really bothers me a lot. Don't like them in the color shots one bit.

Nonetheless, as I said, some great creativity here. The model also seems pretty good...I like some of her poses.

It was definitely the motion and not mis-focusing :/ I do need a good external flash, but more than that I would love some Hot lights to take. This was her first time ever doing any kind of modeling, but she was pretty natural at it, and yea, her legs go on for miles haha.

As far as her shoes... Black and Blue rarely goes together well, but I like that it revealed her Tattoo. I wanted a macro of it, but was afraid of the foot fetish comments i'd get about it lol

tough to get models to freeze for a longer exposure.
a strobe with a snoot might get you somewhere.
the body is one thing, but having a clear face
is very important to desmet, so be aware.
