I still have half a roll of film from this shoot I need to do something with.

For good or ill, I have been told I have really mastered the 'whole goth/emo thing' with my model shoots. Since I am neither goth or emo, I was somewhat perplexed by the fact that all my model stuff came out that way. Not that I'm complaining...I do tend to gravitate towards those types of images...edgy stuff...on modelmayhem. I definitely am not in to the cookie cutter hot chick in an abandonment.

So, when this girl and I agreed to shoot I figured it would be an opportunity to break out a bit. She wanted stuff that was dark and edgy, though, so I tried to kind of hit both sides of the fence.

I think I succeeded and am really really happy with these shots. She was both gorgeous and sweet and really needed almost no direction from me. She was doing things that I have tried to get other models to do without asking. She has a kind of bemused look that really really works for me and what I want to do with my model stuff.

I apologize for the water marks, with model stuff I use it for 'advertising' to try and find new people to work with...it's what I had online.

Geena Matuson! She's awesome.

The pictures are quite well done photography wise, although the whites are little blown out. The only thing that bothers me is that her poses look a bit awkward in most of them.

Thanks Auriele. Yea, I've been getting comments on blown highlights on a lot of my stuff lately. I was like Mr. Bracket and Blend for a while, never blowing highlights...but for some reason I seem to be doing it now and not caring. LOL. For model shoots its tough and I think the outside would just be a distraction anyway.

My favorites, and I don't know why Im compelled to say my own favorites in my own thread, are 2 and 11. I was showing these to my girl and she said, about 11, "she looks like a doll!" and I was like..."thats exactly what I was going for!". Win.

oh my god, She is absolutely breathtakingly beautiful! I have a weakspot for red heads anyways, but man she is just captivating.
