I like the first one better...the second one with the crown is a bit cartoon-ish to me.

I don't like the fake allen screw looking things on the first ones, but the second ones aren't horrible.

I think nismo's middle selection would look pretty amazing.

if you get a set that you posted I'd do the first set.
i think your car needs a wheel with a good amount of face (if you know what I mean) and the ones you posted may be alittle too open. (too little spokes or too thin, along those lines)
I prefer the second set that Nismo posted to be honest and theres more "face" to them, with that deep style, looks aggressive

Yokes, i thought it was funny

i was kind of leaning towards the first wheel I posted as I like the split-5 spoke design. The Konigs were more to satisfy the 'tuner' weenies out there. I agree that it's a bit too 'ricey', or cartoony (as Skelly put it)

also, price is a concern too... like you guys, i am not on a 'money is no object' budget. the top wheel is $140 a pop.

i think i am going to go with the top wheel in 18", but this wheel:

is pretty sweet as well.

I think this is the first time I've ever seen *anybody* unequivocally agree with nismo, nevermind SAMURAI and a handful of others. I agree too!

Boy sure knows how to pick good wheels.

Nismo - let's see your talent with a white 04 Crown Vic? Currently has 16's factory stock alloys.

the last wheel that Nismo listed in his pictoria, American Racing makes an FWD knockoff... it doesn't look as good as the wheel, but its almost the same design.

You're getting at the same thing everybody else gets at. I'm enjoying the alloys because they're not PI wheels.

What do the calipers and rotors on your SS look like Sam?
I ask because nothing drives me crazier then seeing a thin spoke rim exposing something that it shouldn't. The first rim choices look like a little "airy" in terms of ability to see through.
The factory rims you run are pretty solid.

However if what's hiding behind looks good...... open er up, those will look great

i would like to retract my previous statement about the wheels you chose.
I saw a cobalt today at lunch with similar wheels (the first set) and it looked really good.

OEM wheels are a rip off!!

sam - the thing I like about your car as is, the rims match the silver trim soooooo nicely! it's a great accent. Whatever you select. try for the same look (my opinion)

whatever wheel i get will definitely be polished aluminum or chrome... it's not a bling thing, it's just the way it offsets the laser blue of the car.
