| | | Posted by insanebuslady I'm a big fan of Sci-Fi films, which unfortunately are not plentiful, at least good ones So I'm looking for suggestions for good sci-fi. I like technical sci-fi with lots of character building, think along the lines of 2001: A Space Odyssey, Alien, Sunshine (which started awesome and got kind of crappy toward the end), THX 1138, and even the original Star Wars trilogy. Anyway all suggestions are welcome, and I will add it to my Netflix queue
| never considered Star Wars a science fiction film... it was more like space opera, or an action movie with blasters. Now a good science fiction movie? Hmmm... it's a hit or miss, but Silent Running with Bruce Dern was a bit off the cuff. 2010 with Roy Scheider was pretty good as well.
