Who's in tight with a Ford dealer? I would *love* to get a 2008 CV SE 3-bar grille but the cheapest I can find one online is about $575 "wholesale".

It looks like all the other billet 3 bar grilles but fit for the CV.

If I can't get one cheap enough, I'm going to have to figure out how to get a stranger to back into me accidentally and break my current grille and then just try to convince the shop to do me a big favor and get the 3-bar for me.

Anyhow, I'm going to get the Vickie a wash and wax soon, then likely go take some pictures somewhere to share with you guys. I'm really enjoying the car, even despite the kind of sad fuel economy sometimes.

I've been lurking the crownvic.net boards and those guys are awesome, and have given me some ideas for upgrades in the future... including a new 5.0L swap (supposedly the bolt pattern and spacing for the engine mount is identical so they didn't have to re-engineer the Mustang) and the 6sp. auto looks like it should bolt right up also. I've got some bigger wheels in mind... 18x8's all around... possibly 18x10's out back if they fit without looking stupid or needing excessive spacers.

But for now, it's one nice, clean, fun stock 04 LX.
