Having been taken from another thread, this is about the coolest THING you have climbed, not necessarily HOW you climbed it.

I hope this gets interesting. I'm thinking, the wackier the better

Dragline yeeeeah.

Giant roll-y tank.

I don't understand the second part of your statement
talk about it or don't

ORLY: when you're climbing a straight ladder with no caging do you have any kind of harnessing? Even a little home-made thing with beaners? I fell off a ladder once and now I've got a fear of climbing ones without cages :/ I want a kind of 'harness' so I can do ladders more comfortably.

I never use a harness on ladders, but you can rig something up to lobster claw it (i.e. a harness and two biners so you're always clipped in). edit: i should mention that it's very slow, but that won't matter unless you're trying escape quickly/participating in a super awesome climb race.

In good time. We are still waiting to see if he have to go to court before we post the full story/pictures, but it will be shared eventually.

I just don't have anything else unique:

Except maybe a long lines tower on the edge of a 1000' cliff?

This boat (and it scared me too, it was super rusty)

And this coaster at Chippewa Lake Park (which, again, a REALLY stupid idea in retrospect. That wood was awfully rotten, and once I got past the tree, there wasn't any guaranteed grab-holds for me.) I've climbed various parts of this coaster about six times, the last climb being the lift hill. I got about a little better than halfway up and said "WTF am I doing???

If I think of any more as I go through my pics, I'll post them.

I saw curious george climb a ladder laid out over razor wire wrapped stairs.

I sincerely doubt anyone has done anything even close to that weird or that insane.

I habitually climb aerials on top of buildings. I don't even know why. I have to do it though. It's a strange ocd or something.

...but CG still beats us all with his insane razor wire climb.

I'm hoping to make that same climb sometime soon. I just look up to him so much. : D lol

Dres: you're insane in the membrane. I'd climb over razor wire on a ladder! It's scientifically proven to be safe (I saw it on tv once)

VV: that's freaking awesome. I'd bring my cat with me but I think she'd freak out and claw my face off.

My most unique climb was probably the active pharmaceutical laboratory not far from here, on a monday just before 5am. The building is about 25 meters from security. I watched a big silver Audi race in and park right next to the lab, and a guy in a white coat get out and walk into the building. Just after I climbed down and was heading away from the building, I hear the Audi's alarm bleep, I look back and see its indicators flash. I thought I was spotted and he was about to start a car vs deadmind manhunt.

I quickly hid and watched the guy in the lab coat grabbing something from his car, letting out a lazy yawn and going back to work...
