I am from Pittsburgh, and my first love will always be the Pens, but dammit, I have grown to love the Coyotes, and had season tickets with a neighbor for a couple seasons. It has sucked the way things have gone with the attempt to sell the team to a local owner, and the way every group that steps forward has been screwed over sickens me. The only saving grace in this whole thing is that of all cities, they are going back to Winnipeg. They get the Jets back, and we get stuck with an arena that the tax payers are still paying for, and no more NHL.

Fuck.

Wow...I'm really the last to hear about this. Really? I never did think that Winnipeg would ever get a hockey team back!

It's not official yet, but it seems to be a foregone conclusion. There is a big meeting tomorrow, and the story is waaaaay to long to go into here, but it looks like Winnipeg gets the Jets back from what everyone is reporting.
