"An Evening with Brooke"

I met this girl from Model Mayhem, and wanted to do a shoot inspired by the photographer Brassai on a very loose basis. Very Very loose basis lol. All lighting was done with this:



Which also doubles as my Urbex flash light

I know some are slightly blurry, but it's hard to light paint a model lol.

Hurray for ModelMayhem!

I'm pretty impressed with these, considering all you used was a flashlight. I would agree the make-up might be a little overboard, but overall I love the concept and think these turned out pretty good. I might even take the flashlight lighting for a spin myself.

I was under the impression that forum is for model shoots in an Urbex environment only?

The flashlight technique takes some trial and error to get right, and the model has to get used to posing in the dark waiting for a light to come on and then holding it lol

I am not sure if you or they picked out the outfits, but it just looks super trashy and nothing too original to me.

Oh, I should say I am a woman, which might explain my belief that these are creatively blahhh. I am sure many men will have a different attitude and they are, after all, you market.

I don't see how any of them are trashy.

And she picked them out.

Also, I've gotten more compliments on these from women, than I have men.

Good stuff. That lighting came out great for just that flashlight!

I also agree with the eye make-up, but other than that i think they have been well done.
