I tried searching for programs that claim to convert the aforementioned formats but they don't work for me. Can anyone help me out/point me in the right direction? I have about 52 songs I'd like to convert..

First off, only do this if you absolutely have to. Converting lossy->lossy will only make things sound worse.

If you must, look at Foobar2000. It can covert to pretty much anything, but you will need the lame.exe encoder if you want to make mp3s.
