Since this isn't UE related, if it gets deleted, locked, or if I get yelled at I understand....

I've never been to Cincinnati, but am planning on going this weekend. I am going to have the wife with me, and her idea of a good time doesn't include UE. So what's good to do?

Thanks for your time!

the CAC and the art museum should be on your list. while youre at the art museum, check out the bars in mount adams. see a play in the park. does this have to be family friendly?

On weekends, the museum docents at Union Station offer free tours of the station. I went this past weekend, and it was a fairly good tour. I'd recommend it.

Nah, it doesn't need to be family friendly, just the wife and I .

Art museum is a good bet, as others have said. It's not excellent, but it's one of the better ones in the area. Cheap, too. Five dollar parking and free admission. If you like indian food, there is a lot of it around UC. Ambar on Ludlow is the best, although it's always crowded. Newport on the levee is okay if you're bored and don't feel like clubbing some night. There's a decent Turkish restaurant down there, then you can walk the Purple People Bridge over the ohio river if it's not too cold at night. It all depends on what you're into. Oh, and on the off chance you both happen to be disc golfers, Mount Airy Forest has the best course.

Edit: if you're looking to catch a movie for some reason, check the esquire theater on ludlow. It's rather quaint. If you get lucky, you and wifey might get a theater almost all to yourselves.

Boring stuff, i know. But hey, i'm lame, nothing i can do about that.

AND for something to do during the day. Jungle Jims up north on Rt 4. Cool fucking grocery store. It's huge. They have everything, from everywhere. Good for craft beer, wine, cigars, hot sauce, organic anything, bags of strange grains and nuts, and generally wandering around and going 'wtf?'.

No, you're good, it's all about the Tri-State area.

The personal responsibility train left the station years ago, and you gave it the finger as you watched it leave.

Union Terminal is worth the trip itself. The Newport Aquarium is nice, too.

The Newport Aquarium and Cincinnati Zoo and Botanical Garden are some of the best in the country.
