My fav ps3 game is World at War multiplayer. I'm decent but not a hardcore serious player like the clan types. But I have this kid on my friends list who is, who's in the LoCo clan - he's an insane player, gets kill streaks of 80+, thinks it's funny to keep challenging me to 1 on 1's that I have no hope of winning....

So I get this message from him: "U WAN 2 BOOST?" with an invite into a free for all match. I don't know what he's talking about by "boost" (hardly can understand the kid). I join, play for awhile then the server freezes. He tells me to check the leaderboards, I've suddenly advanced to LV10 Prestige! How in the fuck? Also I can make my SN flash in cute colors and move around.

Sooo...how did he (they, whatever) do that? How do you get hacked by joining someone's game?

Also, is there any way to undo this? It's nice having all loadout classes unlocked but now I can never prestige again and that option at least offered a chance to keep things a little fresh. And I sure don't care about having a SN in flashing colors because then everyone starts with the "how U do that" messages.....it looks retarded anyway.

Ok after googling "boosting" I see it's somehow taking advantage of a glitch vs. someone doing a hack. And I can no longer do the SN effects but I'm still at LV10.

I wish there was something that would unlock a map pack.
