I FUCKING HATE new threads that assume they can replace old threads, simply because they're young and fresh and fast-loading.

I hate that I woke up to snow this morning. It is the middle of November in Alberta and all but I hate that I still get surprised when I see it and I hate driving in it. I also hate that I have over 9000 cheap snow brushes and I hate knowing that the scraper is going to snap off as soon as I use it. Why do I have to be so cheap? I hate that!

I hate that threads needs to get closed down after they get too long. That's due to the deleted posts which are still visible to moderators, but end up skewing the page numbering so sometimes even though a mod clicks on the last page, they're taken to a point 1-2 pages before the last page/post which is a hassle.

This is a silly setup. When deleting posts they should actually be deleted or the page numbering should be revised to eliminate the need to arbitrarily end threads because of silly reasons.

I hate when someone calls you for help at work and you do hours of investigating, another few hours of research into case law and arbitration awards and another hour preparing the paperwork and when you bring it to them to sign they say "Oh I need to sign something?" and then refuse to sign it because they thought I would magically fix the problem by the force of my will alone.

Bottles of apple juice that are made with grape, pear, blueberry, orange, and strawberry juice, but then only "natural flavors" of the actual apple.

Getting a barrage of angry texts from one roommate who doesn't know how to operate locks apparently. I put the deadbolt on (same key as the doorknob lock) and apparently I'm a terrible person for this. And the other one is now pissed at me too and is going home to help her? I'm such a terrible person for securing our apartment properly when no one is home. First it was yelling at me because she's didn't bring all 3 keys, then I explained two are the same (and it wouldn't be my fault she didn't bring all her keys anyways) and she still couldn't get it, so she was being bitchy because I put the deadbolt on.

Probably going to get yelled at when I get home from school, too.

Sigh.

Being home alone when bad news comes in.

--- AND ---

Hearing about a friend dying long after he's dead. The only comfort I had in this is that he didn't want a funeral.

That really sucks.

I saw your thread Kubla.

Just today, I got news that a friend of mine died from Alzheimers. I've lost other loved ones to this f***ing bastard of a disease so you're not the only one.

Another f***ing bastard of a disease is Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (also known as Lou Gehrig's). I found out back in September that a friend of mine (who was also a former co-worker) died of it in March. One year more than the doctors told him but then, Bill was always a stubborn fighter.

F**k you Alzheimer's and Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis! BOTH OF YOU CAN BITE THE F***ING WET END!!!

It's even worse when people expect you to open the door for them when the know you'll be home, or leave the door unlocked for whenever they get home. And knowing you'll be home, they sometimes leave their key behind.

Whenever I go out, the keys go in the right pocket, the cellphone in the left and wallet in the (left) ass. It's easy, and I've never had a problem being locked out, or had to ring anyone to open up, or ask that the door be left unlocked.

Keep it fuzzy.

Thank you. Just home alone and foot was hurting from the gout. Not a pleasant combo when I got the news. I was not exactly in a pleasant mood and had to blast.
