| | | i think the max shutter-open time i used was only 13 seconds. i kind of worded it weirdly i suppose, but i wouldnt hold it. the elastic hair tie doesnt have enough pressure to push the button down itself, but when i pull it via safety pin over the button and then push the button, the button stays depressed because of the elastic. after timing, i would pull up on the safety pin and the button would release. and, actually.. it didnt work out so well, because the elastic eventually lost its elasticity to a degree. it worked for my first and so far only session. i am going to develop the negatives today, and see what the result is. thanks for responding though!! that idea sounds better than mine. i just need to find/jury-rig a sort of lens cap for the bottom picture-taking lens. (as according to the argus 75 manual found online, the top lens is for viewing, and bottom is picture taking.) let me ask you another thing though, when you put the cap back on, and received a little camera shake, did it ever show on your photos? i guess im asking if the amount of shake you received had varying outcomes, or if generally its a sturdy method... thanks again.
