Sam definitely likes some rare cars. I tried to look up pictures of his picks. FAIL. Many are nonexistent.

Pics of the cars.

Example: 1973 Ford Maverick Grabber in grabber blue. I found a few 1973's, but none in grabber blue. I found a bunch of grabber blues Mavericks, but none of them 1973.

It was pretty frustrating.

This is fun to me (I know. Seek help.), so I decided to find pics of some of you guys choices. I have no idea what style or color you would go with, therefor I chose what looked good to me, or was the only pic available.

First Bandi's MGB BT broken link. I chose this 1974 MGB-GT.

The I got to Samurai's list. Let me tell ya, Sam likes some rare cars. My searches were a practice in frustration. I couldn't find a pic of several of his selections.

1955 Chevrolet Bel Air coupe

1958 Chevrolet Corvette (in red/white please)

1964 Chevrolet Impala coupe (409/4speed in red please)

1964 Ford Galaxie 500 coupe (preferably a 289/4speed)

1967 Ford Mustang fastback

1968 Chevrolet Camaro RS

1969 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28

1969 Ford Torino Talladega (in royal maroon please)

1970 Dodge Challenger R/T (in white with a 440 6-pack/4speed please)

1970 Ford Torino Cobra (429/4speed in grabber red please)

1972 Chevrolet Impala convertible (in blue please)

1973 Ford Maverick Grabber (302/4speed in Grabber Blue please) *I couldn't find a pic of a '73 in Grabber Blue*

1975 Toyota Corolla SR5 hatchback

1976 Chevrolet Impala coupe (in red)

1976 Ford Elite coupe (in black)

1977 Chevrolet Nova Rallye

1979 Ford Fairmont Sport coupe

1979 Ford Mustang Cobra

1979 Volkwagen Scirocco

1981 Chevrolet Camaro Z28

1981 Chevrolet Citation X11 hatchback

1982 Ford Mustang GT

1983 Ford Escort EXP

1984 Dodge 024 hatchback

1984 Dodge Rampage

1984 Ford Escort Turbo GT

1986 Chevrolet Cavalier RS coupe *Random pic from some old movie*

1986 Dodge Daytona Turbo Z

1986 Chevrolet Cavalier RS coupe

1988 Chevrolet Cavalier RS coupe - No image available.

1989 Dodge Omni GLH-T

1989 Nissan 240SX hatchback

So yeah. That pretty much killed my desire to search.

modified for double pic and to add content.

the pic of the supposed...

73 Maverick is not a 73. it's a 74+
024 hatchback is fail... that is an 84+ Charger/Turismo hatchback.
84 Escort Turbo GT is the European Spec car, not what I was looking at. North America's Escort Turbo GT looked like a normal Escort GT with Recaro seats and a different interior. In the two model years of production, less than 2300 total were built.
the picture of the 3 Cavalier body styles (for 86) is in error. That is taken from the 1988 Cavalier promotional brochure, not 1986. The last year of the 'boxy' j-body was 1987.

as for finding pics of the 88, look no further than googling 'old school j-bodies' or 'j-body.net'.

otherwise, good search.

Fack! I had a feeling those were not correct. I didn't know what to look for on those particular cars, so I was searching blind (just going with what the person had labeled it). I'm gonna' try again later today.

I already own dream car #1...

...and #2 is extremely similar.

Delorean's midwest facility is actually only about 20 minutes from here... probably a bad idea that I found that out.

I also wouldn't mind any of the following:
Bricklin SV-1
Fiat/Bertone X1/9
Ferrari F40
1974 Dodge Monaco
1996 Chevy Caprice 9C1
1991 Olds Custom Cruiser
1963 Corvette split-window

There are more, but I just can't remember.

the old Odyssey and Pilot bring back memories... but the new Can Am's Outlanders are not all that and a bag of chocolate chip cookies, at least on the tight beastly trails back here.

i can remember when Harley-Davidson made a dirtbike in the 70's... a friend of mind had a frame and engine to it in his basement. He sold it in boxes for $2k just because all the numbers matched (or so the legend of Teethwoof goes). A friend of our family had a 67 or 69 Triumph Daytona when I was a kid... I loved that bike, even as a kid... it was so much cooler than a Harley. John still has the bike even though it hasn't been ridden in years.

for bikes, i always thought it would be cool to have on of those Kawasaki KZ1000's that the Goose rode in Mad Max.
