Russian magnate starts hybrid car company MOSCOW — The Russian billionaire owner of the New Jersey Nets has introduced a new line of hybrid cars — called "Yo" — that he hopes to begin selling in 2012. Mikhail Prokhorov said Monday the cars, powered both by gasoline and electricity, are "socially important products" that he hopes will "overcome existing stereotypes ... that Russia cannot make normal cars." 	Yeah, that'll work well So it'll have to be switched from gas to electric manually, right? Because I've driven a "modern" Russian car... and it was about as technologically advanced as my '72 BMW- and my '72 BMW always starts.

yeah, and when the wheels slip in a low-traction environment and you completely destroy the motor, you can sit there like a big, dead locomotive.

I totally agree... HATE HATE HATE HATEY HATE

I had to do a big hybrid training course with GM- the Malibu hybrid ISN'T EVEN A FREAKING HYBRID. It just has an alternator that doubles as a starter. Like a golf cart.

But all normal hybrids can burn in hell, too. Even Porsche makes them now.
