So I ended up figuring out where I had a small oil leak coming from on the Cherokee. there was a chunk missing from the old oil pan gasket. Me and a friend got the oil pan out, put the gasket in, but for the life of both of us can't get it back in!

Anyone have any suggestions? It seems like we need to get the axle down lower, but its already low as it goes with the frame on jackstands.

Maybe the windage tray is hangin' up as it goes by the pump? Maybe you could even try bending the lip ever so slightly?

I ended up figuring it out; I disconnected the shocks from the axle and that gave me enough clearance to slide the oil pan right in.
