Always wanted to play DnD but could never find anyone who'd be interested or take it seriously.

I do remember there being a online service for d20 games a few years back called GhostOrb, any idea if that or something similar is still around?


----> My response: I think that pretty much got bumped out when DnD online came out. Sadly, the game itself wasn't that good. The whole point of tabletop DnD was that you could do anything your little brain could think up. (I'll post some stories from some of mine later.) Something like that will never be able to transport over to an online/MMORPG type game.

As far as finding people in your area to play, search for local game stores in your area or places that sell Reaper Miniatures. Most of them will have a bulletin board inside that has people in the area that are looking for players and such. I've had good luck with this. Found a guy to DM for me and some friends that had a D20 room in his home. The whole place was lined with bookshelves of nothing but miniatures he had painted over the years, whole town maps he had drawn out, a castle he had built, book after book on gaming. Best DM I have found so far. So for sure check that out if your looking to play.
