The coupe a little bit, but some of the design cues on the GTP actually went into the 4th-gen F-body.

Mid engine and near or at 50/50 balance. yes the Solsticve is a mid engine with the engine set back behind the front wheels.


That doesn't make it mid engined. My '85 Rx7 had the engine behind the front wheels and it was no mid engined car.

I've said it before and I'll say it again- I quite like Fieros. There are a lot of really cool upgrades you can do with parts for other GM cars, like Bonneville brakes, etc. There's a published list of all the interchange stuff somewhere, so if you break anything you know what to order at the parts store.
