I play lead guitar in my band Junior Crime Fighters. We've finally gotten some good recordings up on Reverbnation. I'm trying to get opinions on the music, so please don't censor yourself. If you love it or hate it, I'd like to know.

It was a DIY demo btw. 4 mics on drums, 2 guitars direct line. Bass and vocals overdubbed. We used a 6 channel mixer plugged into a 2 channel tascam recorder. It turned out surprisingly well.

well it is a few minutes until 5am, I am currently listening on terrible quality internal laptop speakers, and I generally dont listen to much of that genre of music...

that being said, it sounded pretty good. (I listened to the untitled one) .. the splash hit early on seemed a bit odd... pretty good for your own porta-recording.

Your drummer has some timing issues he needs to hammer out. Fills are rushed and he's just not fluid in some of the breakdowns. If you listen to it unbiasedly then you can really feel how it disrupts the flow of the songs.

Im critical simply b/c I'm a drummer of 18 years and used to get drilled on this before I did some serious studio work.
