Ok. Well I got a offer on the Sammy. 1995 Firebird Convertable with power everything, white leather interior, freshes paint, and ICE COLD AC!!!


So, thoughts? Drove the 'bird. Ran good, drove straight, plenty of power. Top isn't great, but its not a deal killer.

Which motor in the Firebird? You're looking at about an even trade on value, as a Sammie is worth quite a bit as a small, capable offroader, but an F-body that old won't have much value left in it at all, especially if it's a V6.

Its the 3.4 V6, but its in 3 times the shape of the Sammy. Plus, I have been going through a quart of oil a week, sadly

don't expect to win races in the car, but it's an ok cruiser.

Lol, yeah. Not a speed demon. But, its just gonna be that, a cruiser. And from the drivers side, ya don't even notice the hump


Only mods I "may" make will be for handling. But honestly, I may not even bother. I don't think the current engine can out drive the factory setup.

Sold the Sammy this morning for $1200, pickin up the Firebird for $800. Damn, it feels good to be me.

That's a much better move than a straight trade. I think that both of these vehicles are under value at those prices, though.

Sammy died 3 times on the guy who bought it. Guess it didn't wanna leave. But the guy pulled out $1200 and I took it. Its gonna need an engine.

Sounds like you won the lotto with the Sammie. The 'vert should treat you well as long as you don't expect anything in return other than some top down driving.

Here she is. Only thing I can really find wrong is it has a valve tick, not bad, but its there. And its gonna need a radiator. This one leaks every now and again, but not really bad. I'm happy so far.

its not a valve tick... it's just the way these 60-degree V6's sound. My 3100 sounds like all tickety tickety all the time.
