Anyone down for something like that? A list of places to take pictures of your vehicle, and load them on the board. Example, Abandoned Gas Station at the pumps. Inside automatic car wash with bucket and sponge. Right in front at a new car lot, Example, if you have a 91 Subaru, you park it right out front where they put the new models, bonus points if you put a dealer flag on the Antenna or a price on the windshield. Somewhere away from all civilization, Like in the middle of the woods away from any trail or road. Etc, Etc, etc....


So, bad idea brought on by back pain pills, or good clean fun? Your call.

Well, guys, lets make a list. The abandoned Gas station one I already did today, kinda what gave me the idea, so if we include it, I'll find another one.
But I do think that should be one. I'll use that one as mine

1. Abandoned Gas Station, at pumps or where pumps should be. Bonus points if you have the nozzle out like your pumping gas. Even more bonus points if a cop has pulled up behind you and you play completely dumb.

2. Your call. When we get all the ideas ( I figure about, hell I dunno, 20-25? maybe more, maybe less ) I'll put them all in one post, so we can print it out if your so inclined and you can include it in your pic. Which one your checkin off so to speak. Winner gets.................major props? There is no prize. I guess I could send you a email with a list of my fears, my picture, and my dailey schedule.

Local paper? And do we set aside an entire day, or maybe make this a monthly thing with a pole every month to determine the winner?

Each item/location found is worth 5 points. Bonuses are as marked.

1. Abandoned Gas Station, at pumps. 1 bonus point if using nozzle. 1 bonus point if its an abandoned Travel Center/Truck Stop.

2 Loading Dock. 1 bonus point if brave enough to be in between two trailers at an active dock. 1 bonus point if its full of water from being abandoned/not maintained.

3. Gravel road. 1 bonus point if its washed out. 2 bonus points if its dirt, and raining. ( This is suppose to be a legal road, not a trail. )

4. Metal Bridge. 1 point if its rusted. 1 point if its abandoned. 2 points if you moved a barricade to get out on it.

5. Red Honda Civic. Park beside or next to a Red Honda Civic. There are no bonus points due to the fact they are everywhere.

6. Other members rides. If you find a ride that your pretty sure is similar to what a member owns, park next to it and snap a picture. Only points awarded if you can name the member the car goes with. 2 bonus points if its the same color.

7. Police station. Park next to a police car AT a police station. 5 bonus points if you can prove by photo your in the patrol car lot.

8. Fire Station. Park beside a fire truck. This doesn't have to be at a fire station. 3 bonus points if its at a fire. 10 bonus points if they bust out your windows to run the hose.

9. EMS. Only awarded points if they are working a wreck. 2 bonus points if your part of the wreck.

10. Boat Ramp. Full points for atleast 2 wheels in water. 4 bonus points for all 4 wheels in water. 10 bonus points if your up to the windshield.



This is all I have for now, critic the hell out of it. Add to it, do whatever needs done. I am on my second pain pill today so some of these may be deadly. I will edit this post over and over till we get it right, then print off and start, say, March 1st?

I quite like this.

However I just sold my winter beater for double what I paid for it and am not driving anything I will go exploring/adventuring in because it DOES NOT HAVE HEAT OR AN EXHAUST SYSTEM.

I dont think EXIF data is needed. A simple letter size piece of paper with UER and the date written on it and placed in the picture would suffice. I dont think anyone here is gonna cheat, OR AT LEAST I HOPE NOT!!!

I already have several photos of my rig next to EMS, Fire Trucks, Police, Sheriff and Feds :p

Add to the list I'm. Figurin starting in March. Let it run for a month. But then again I dunno. So, add items, rules, ideas, etc. This back pain pill induced idea might work.

I do geocache, but sooo many of us all over the place. It would be cool to have folks include cords, but not everyone has a GPS. I dunno lol. I'm not good at this kinda stuff.

I meant, some of the caches are hidden in really odd spots, you might want to borrow some location ideas :p
geocaching is fun when it's difficult rather than plentiful. 100 easy caches are still easy, and 1 super hard cache is way better

I see where ya going with this. Hmmmmm. Multi stage......

Not sure how you'd do a multi with everybody all over the world though :/
