Ok, I`ve got a rather vague question I am going to throw out there. Perhaps someone who knows the area can answer it.

About three quarters of a year ago, I was looking up something and somehow in the process discovered a picture of some ''ruins'' along the hiking trails near Valley Farm Rd. in Pickering. I had a vague idea of where the place was but never got around to going to look for it. It looked really cool and it was quite arbitrary that I stumbled upon it when I was looking for abandoned Canadian Tire locations! LOL

Anyway, I am literally losing my mind trying to find this website with the picture because I wanted to find out more about and and see about searching for it. But I don't know if it's still there or where exactly it was. Yes I know I can go walk the trails, which I am very likely going to do...in fact, I may do so right now lol, but just for some piece of mind, does ANYONE have any idea what I am talking about? I have been Googling for hours and it was too long ago for browser history. I think it was on someone's deviantart or flickr page but my endless searching has yielded no conclusions.

So again, in case my own search is futile, does anyone know ANYTHING? Or am I completely losing it? Because the latter is highly likely lol

I've only been on the southern parts of Valley Farm Rd by the PTC. Try up by the Valley Farm Ravine just south of Finch Ave.

Yeah. If I remember correctly it WAS somewhere down in the ravine, along the Seaton trails. I think I'll maybe take a hike this week, it's supposed to be nice! AND my sister is on March break and we're planning on doing lots of scouting and exploring so maybe we'll take my dog out there or just go ourselves. I will let everyone know if I find it and enter it in the DB if I do.

I think you may be thinking of some ruins off valley farm road between concession 3 and finch. I was there years ago, but there was the ruins of an old chimney and a foundation. If you google map valley farm road and look in the woods directly across from greemount street you'll see an old foundation there. Also, if you check the photos option it will show some pics of the area.

See my sister and I took the dogs up to the trails yesterday, but we went off the 3rd Conc. entrance and stayed up in the north end so we were no where near it!
But thanks so much! I was going to go to that end first but decided to bring the dogs and go to the other end. I feel kinda lazy now for not finding it myself lol but it's been driving me nuts so thanks again!
