I guess with the sun shining and the overall dry, cool weather we were having here in Rochester yesterday, it was time for people to bring out their summer rides.

I saw a guy out in his heavily modified (tastefully, and performance mods) Grand National GNX. It was bordering on pro-street, except not with the idiotic body kits. Just. Amazing. Turbocharger whine and wastegate dump nearly made me jizz my pants, and the guy needed probably 13" wide rear tires to maintain any hint of traction. This thing was like showroom quality... what I'd imagine Leno's Grand National looks like. Paint was immaculate.

Followed shortly thereafter by a pretty mint 300zx turbo. Shaved clean, no factory spoiler, no body kit, smoked headlights and the smooth treatment across the taillights. Very sharp, sleek looking car. Too bad the driver was a retarded prick. Cut me off three times because he obviously had no clue where he was going. Kept getting in front of me and then going to make a left turn, but then getting back to the right instead.

Then saw my first '11 Hemi Charger... I'm actually not a huge fan of the racetrack rearend/taillights in person, but the rest of the car isn't bad. The tail end just looks odd... it's an improvement over the boring rear from last gen, though. I saw the toxic orange copy that Dodge brought to the ROC Auto Show, and it just wasn't quite the same as seeing a shiny black one actually on the road.

Few others came out too... was behind a blue and white '09 viper on the expressway coming home, then saw my neighbor bring his 67 Grand Prix out... then saw the guy down the road waxing his 69 Super Bee sub lime green convertible. Finally, took a walk with the wife and saw this funny old black dude washing and cleaning out his '04 Rolls Phantom.

God what a good day!

we're getting a foot of snow tonight and tomorrow... the northeast sucks the sweat off a fat ballsack after a richard simmons workout.

I saw this hilariously ugly car once, it was definitely some kind of foreign sports car: Zonda ... maybe? Haven't seen anything like it since.

The exhaust pipe was dead center so it looked like the car had an asshole. Stupidest thing ever, but interesting.

I don't think it was a Zonda though, it had the center exhaust, but this one only had one exhaust pipe, it was low center, the Zonda has four, in almost the middle of it..

I'm sure it was fast but it still looked like an ass.

sorry to hear sammy! we got a dusting and arent expecting much more than maybe 2 inches. i could use a few months someplace like AZ...

the forecast had 8-12"... then it went 6-10" and now it's 3-6" which, after the last storm we had, nothing... i'm just worried that my relief tomorrow is going to call off and stick me on a double.

WTF? Do yall ever not have a fuckin winter? I mean really, I must say I respect you car guys up there soooooooooooo much since you have to deal with that shit for damn near half the year, plus the salt, plus the cold, and still do it.

Samarui will be wishing for winter in July when its 100 degrees F in his balls

we hoon as much as possible given the conditions. for 6mo of the year, it means enjoying driving sideways instead of fast.
