For those with an interest in outsider art and/or asylum patient art, this doc should be a real treat:



It really blew me away, because the artist's pure, sincere, and unfiltered artwork was echoed by the filmmaker's storytelling technique.

Some will argue that the animation distorts the work, but I think it's brilliant and much better than anonymous "experts" or "gurus" voicing their opinions as they often do in most docs.
