Vaporizing vs. Smoking

I recently got a vaporizer (the Arizer Extreme Q ), and to be honest, I haven't smoked since. I can't see it eliminating combustion from my life, joints are more portable and bongs hold a special place in my heart, but it sure feels and tastes better. It may be a bit premature to say this, but after 7 days, my lungs already feel healthier.

Any other vaporizer users out there? What's your tool of choice? Would you recommend it?

My boyfriend and I actually decided to get the exact same one a few days ago

Vaporizers are incredibly practical. It lasts twice as long and you can apparently bake with it after you're done. Also better for your lungs.

I bought that same one about a month ago. I still prefer the bong if I want to get out-of-my-head blitzed, but in general I definitely love the vaporizer.

My experience with vaporizers is with a magic flight launch box (http://magic-flight.com/) which worked exceedingly well. The downsides are that it tends to chew through rechargeable batteries (think two or three sets a year if you use it every day) and it's more of a solo thing. It doesn't tend to work well for groups. I'd like to get a desk vape for that sort of thing.

I've also noticed with vapes that the high seems to be different. Somehow more 'clear' and less 'stoney' though of course that's subjective.

True test here! I tried one a couple times and to be quite honest... it hardly got me high. I tried different types even. I'm old so I'm old fashion. Give me my bowl any day.

Update: We couldn't get the EVQ because the company we order through for work ran into some issues with customs. We ended up getting the Predator vape instead: http://www.amazon....Blue/dp/B0041SQHF4. It's ok. I like the EVQ better, but this works fine. My main complaint is that it's huge and takes a while to heat up.

I tried my first portable vape last night: Dragon lite. I have fallen completely in love with this little thing. Everything about it is awesome.
