| | | Posted by Sledgy Have to try it to see how much I like it first. If it satisfies, might get another Therrin - Have to admit your flip down does look a little bit beefier, mine looks like at some stage its likely to snap but I'm willing to give it a try.
| I used your exact flip diffuser for a while, as mentioned, on the HP10. And I gotta say, for the record, that whoever markets a diffuser for a headlamp should make the outter slip ring in a matte black finish. Having the lens close atop the ring, instead of nestling inside, and having the ring all clear... The light comes spilling out the whole damn thing! Glares in your eyes even when it's flipped shut. (even while helmet mounted) I covered the whole outside in electrical tape and used a magic marker on the outter rim and it only "sorta" fixed it, just made it somewhat bearable. Then the hinge stopped closing all the way and I tore it off and stepped on it several times. Lasted about 4 trips. But like I said, my new diffuser cost a little over $60. (and I love it!)
| Give a person a match and they'll be warm for a minute, but light them on fire and they'll be warm for the rest of their life. =) |

| Yeah, I never use those flip diffusers at all. They're cheap, though - about a tenth of the price I paid for a SureFire one I've since lost
