What about some of the responses you get to your Kijiji/Craigslist ads? Like people who offer you $250 for a $1000 car (with poor grammar skills).

I had a properly and tastefully modified '91 BMW 318is for sale last year I think $2k... (BBS wheels, BMW lowering springs, a nice stereo system, projector headlights, AC Schnitzer intake, Hartge lip, etc, etc..) and in the ad I said "interesting trades considered"

Some assclown from Toronto wanted to trade me an '86 318i that needed work for it... straight up. I suggested I just unbolt all the aftermarket goodies and give them to him for free along with some cash.

I had the 22's off of the Hummer listed on Kijiji - $1200 bucks rims and tires

I sold them in less then half an hour, full price no questions asked. until I pulled the ad down i had guys offering $500 bucks, $600 bucks..... trades on junk straight up.... just wrong!

i had my Beretta on Craigslist for a week... $1500
ONE bite. At the time, it had less than 90,000 miles and the body is SOLID, no rust. Cruise works, A/C works, pwr locks work, aluminum wheels and new T/A's... I had people wanting to trade me just straight up junk.

What part of "NO TRADES" didn't you understand?
