Hood ornament is '55 De Soto

http://www.cadvisi...soto/deso55-1a.jpg

Hood is not De Soto though

I'd say a Dauphine with a 55 De Soto hood ornament

Best yet, and winner so far, but look at the shape of the ornament. The downward dent is not on the logo on the original posters photo.

Should be on here somewhere. There is something familiar about it.

That's close, and maybe it, but the hood ridge looks less pronounced.

I thought that also, I think it's just the color and lighting?

The emblem is correct, and I think the hood ornament has been put to rest?

It really does look like a Ford hood emblem...........

And in the rear is an early 1960s Corvair.

Allard?

Wow, it must be less obscure than I thought. Yes, it's an Allard J2X, which I gave to JerseyDub for his birthday. (He didn't like it, and demanded I get him an E-Type instead.)

Okay, you European car nuts might be able to guess this one:
