I know do one of these every year and get little response, but man this year so far is a real whopper.

On Friday night out at Portland International Raceway, one of the cars sponsered by Lucas Oil started blowing blue smoke everywhere. See the connection?

So Today, we had rain; not a big deal normally in rally of course, but not a giant downpour that resulted in 8 inches of standing water on one stage then made mud a really big problem for the 2WD cars that we decided to not run the last 2 stages.

I'll get pictures up when I feel like it....there was some fun wrecks...

I'd still run my 2WD in the mud. Then again, I don't have 5 or 6 figures tied up in mine. I wish we had rallies here.

So, how many cars did Ken Block crash?

Ken Block wasn't here...apparently he had other commitments...ha

But here's the recap:

Day 3 we had to move start control on one stage, Clausen, to finish control and reverse the entire stage to instruction 5 so we can cut out the really really really bad part that had 8 inches of mud.

We went from on Friday at 46 cars to 31 cars finishing the entire entire event on Sunday.

The 2WD Winner was ACP in a freaking Scion xD!

The overall winner was Team Subaru USA! Which I don't see to have any photos...

Now how is this for a wreck?

Missing Something?

This is one of our E-Crew rigs, Medic 1; Yesterday while trying to pull out people in the mud (and set a record..17 cars including competitor, rally officals, spectators and even the SWEEP guys) got stuck as well.

But wait, there's more mud by the end of the rally!
