started with the 200, now the 300 is using it too, the challenger and charger come from the same plant.

Eminem endorsed it, so it's obviously a piece of shit like him.

Well to be fair, on the customs paperwork, it does say "PORT OF ENTRY: DETROIT, MI"

Its all about having pride and faith in Detroit. Its a motivating commercial having to do with domestic automakers, and everything that Detroit once was.

As the ONLY Mopar fan on this board far as I know, the whole thing with Fiat I think is a positive thing unlike the German occupation years (har har har). Fiat is actually now exporting Chryslers from the US and rebadiging them under the Lancia brand. And internally, the Mopar engineers are getting along GREAT with the Fiat/Lancia engineers; something that was UNHEARD of during the DalmlerChrysler era!

And it looks like that finally, Chrysler will be a true global car maker like Ford and GM finally...

i like some Mopar, just not hate the caravan. but in its defence, i hate all vans (except that one with no windows thats gets me every haloween

The Chrysler 200 is so bad, the Detroit News' auto critic quit after the paper softened his negative review of the car. The review is conveniently no longer available online, but the gist of it was that he loved the city of Detroit and wanted to be proud of its carmakers' offerings, so it pissed him off whenever one of the big three rolled out a piece of crap like the 200 that forced him to recommend the Toyota Camry over it. He said that the only vehicle in its class that it compared favorably to was the Sebring which it replaced.

I thought the super bowl ad was great, but unfortunately a great ad doesn't make a great car.

I've seen more new Fiat 500s than I have Chevy Cruzes out this way. I like that.

And Chrysler always was kind of a global carmaker... think back to the Simca days, the "Imported for Plymouth" days... the days when the Omni and Horizon had a VW engine... or the Eagle Premier days, that thing was the bastard child of a Mitsubishi and a Volvo.
