I was given a free 220v campbell hausfeld, but I don't have any 220 outlets, so I came across a 110v motor off another broken compressor. Since both compressor are 20 gallon and similar capacities. I was wondering if the pressure controls would work no matter the voltage. Just use one of the Hots for neutral and swap the plug.

You could swap motors, but I would see if I could pull a double pole off my breaker box and run a dedicated outlet for that compressor. Trust me, you will be happier with the 220v motor.

If you dont live in an apartment, you should be able to wire a 220v outlet.

Regardless if I can wire a 220 outlet or not. That's not what I was asking.

I was given a 1989 Ford F250 with a blown motor. I came across a Honda 4 cylinder engine out of a 1989 CRX. Theres no diesel at the gas station by my house, so can i put the Honda engine in the truck since they are the same years?
