Jade Empire really deserved a sequel. Someone should buy the rights off of Bioware and just get that shit done.

Yes! So many original Xbox titles with great potential that just never came to fruition.
Shame that it's just all about Callfield: Dutybattle anymore.

so... how about a game I wish never got a sequel....

capcom's steel battalion. We went from the massive control peripheral with dozens of buttons and switched ... all needed to pilot the robot... plus you need to remember to push the eject button if you robot gets critically hit or else it erases your save file.... to some modern iteration using I believe it was... the kinekt and the controller in tandem? GTFO... that is lame.

I remember that game. It caused a lot of buzz since it required a controller that was more expensive than the game itself. The general consensus of those who bought it, as I recall, was they were not happy dropping that much for a peripheral that only worked for one single disappointing game.

yeah they made a new one that used the Kinect as well. From what I read it was a smart use of controls and you didnt have to buy a controller for just one game. But sadly the idea was better than the execution.

I was at a vintage game store not too long ago and the had the original steel battalion with the controller in this military looking packaging. It was pretty neat seeing it again.

the game was hard... it was more of a simulator I guess... it aint a pick up and play type of thing. But on the upside... those who didn't do their research and just ran out and bought it... at least they can make their money back if not make a profit today selling it used.

there were a bunch of xbox games that I wish would've been ported to the 360... one in particular was "Rally Sport Challenge2"... fantastic rally game. In fact, i kept my original Xbox just so i could still play this game.
