Don't shoot me for asking, but why would you need to see a different Dr? Bad diagnosis?

I can't even imagine what its like to deal with insane medication costs, or the other shit. I went on and checked out how much Vioxx cost years ago on one of those online cheap medication sites, when I knew how much it cost here, and the price difference was outrageous! It was about $400 more then what it was here for the same amount. I can see why people don't take what they are supposed to.

i saw one doctor in the ER that looked at my foot initially. I have seen him before and trust his judgement. The follow-up with another doctor was also fine, as she has seen me before and could be considered 'my' doctor. My employer keeps this fossil on the payroll that is an arrogant asshole and has the bedside manner of a snake. He is sitting there basically telling me that the first two doctors were full of shit and that i should be taking medications for this and that. Gee whiz... yeah, without medication just diet, my blood sugar has remained pretty much normal for over two years? I got gout because I went on a hot dog binge. I love hotdogs and overindulged in them. For that, I lost almost a weeks' pay and esteem at work. Fucking sue me.

Most employer Dr's are shit! I don't blame you for getting pissed. On top of dealing with something shitty, dealing with a moron that's a Dr sucks ... I was in a similar situation post surgery before with an employer.

But on a positive note, that's awesome that you've been able to keep things in check with just diet!

Just the plain old Juicy Juice kind that you buy in the can.

That and regular fresh cherries.

At least two servings a day of this stuff during an acute attack.

It's not necessarily the vitamin C that helps...it's the "flavenoids" that break up the uric acid crystals.

That's what he said. I can't comment on the other stuff I don't know of.

Diet has a huge impact on overall health. Being someone who suffers from arthritis, I know how much what you do with your body and put into your body can help or fuck things up.

I got gout from eating too much fruit and taking vitamin C tablets a couple of years ago.

Here's a tip. Stick with women doctors. They are far more conscientious and caring about their patients on average. Women are not better than men at everything, but for health care and medical care, they tend to do very well. Just my own experience of course.
