He's from Quebec, so his English, though probably just his written English, won't be fantastic... The spelling from most of the people, mainly men, on that site is horrible, even if English is their first language.

Now I on the other hand have been born and raised in Montreal, in French from a 100% French speaking family (and I don't even have an accent anymore).

A lot of people are incredibly insecure. Sometimes they feel the only way to feel better about themselves is to make others seem less desirable than they are. You can tell how shitty people feel about themselves based off how bitter they are towards others.
